Senior Accountant - Permanent Work from Home + Night Shift

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn about our company. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support our company's accounting operations.

Work Schedule: You will work during our night shift in the Philippines, from approximately 11 pm – 8 am, local Philippines time.

Principal Accountabilities

You will work closely with a Senior Accountant (who is a pleasure to work with - intelligent, friendly, and an Excel expert!) to learn our processes. If unfamiliar with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, training will be provided. Over time, you will understand our accounting operations and revenue/expense cycle.

Goals include performing all daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks independently and eventually mentoring others. We seek an outgoing, personable professional who enjoys interacting with colleagues and clients.

The key responsibilities include:

Daily and Weekly

• Assist with invoicing for clients and subsidiaries.
• Prepare cash forecasts.
• Post intercompany invoices.
• Review invoices for accuracy.
• Review payroll entries.

Monthly and Quarterly

• Create Job Costing/Gross Profit reports.
• Analyze Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging reports.
• Review month-end accruals and close procedures.
• Post bank transactions.
• Review sales commissions and perform sales tax reviews.
• Book US payroll transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and submit banking requirements.
• Review open orders and interact with sales reps and vendors for updates.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 4-year degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail.
• Friendly, responsible, and team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus.

What We Offer
