Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time role at a mall/retail site in Braintree, MA. The position focuses on delivering professional customer service, engaging with staff and customers, and conducting both interior and exterior patrols.

The officer must remain vigilant, communicate clearly, and report incidents accurately. The job entails patrolling on foot and by vehicle, handling emergencies per site procedures, and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for clients

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable means of communication and transportation.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service at a client-facing site.
• Engage with employees and customers in a high-traffic location.
• Conduct interior patrols on foot to inspect the building and grounds.

• Maintain a high level of observation and reporting.

General Job Duties

• Provide professional customer service to a client-facing site.
• Heavy foot traffic location – looking for officer engagement and responsiveness with employees / customers
• Interior Patrols, on foot to inspect building and grounds.
• Exterior Patrols, in company vehicle.
• High level of observation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, clients, and management.
• Observe, report, and prepare logs/reports on incidents or suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergency situations following procedures established for the site.
