Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite position in Roxbury, MA. The role supports high school students, collaborates with staff and families, and aims to improve academic and social-emotional success.

The assignment is through January 2027 with an ASAP start at a single school site, 37.5 hours per week, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, onsite only, serving grades 9–12 with approximately 35 students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with high school students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to students in grades 9-12.
• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student support meetings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes.
• Assist in developing interventions and support plans.
• Connect students and families with appropriate resources and services.
