This Project Manager role is part of the customer engagement arm within Granicus’ Digital Services Implementation Team and is a key member of the Implementation Services (IS) team. This team helps government agencies create valued online services and partners with customers to enhance how they support their communities through strategic experience management.
As a Project Manager, you will be a key partner in successfully rolling out projects across our customer base. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping customers achieve their strategic objectives. Your responsibilities start at project initiation with providing a project plan, overseeing discovery and requirements gathering, and ensuring clients receive proper training to maximize their system utilization.

What Your Impact Will Look Like Here
- Manage medium-sized customer projects throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-touch clients, providing insights on system performance, best practices, and account updates.
- Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Advise customers on improving their online processes, keeping user experience top-of-mind.
- Track progress against milestones, budgets, and performance indicators; prepare reports for senior management.
- Create and maintain project plans, status reports, and documentation.
- Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate customer business processes, anticipate requirements, and develop solutions for improvement.
- Enable customers to utilize the AMANDA product by aligning project plans with their goals.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, providing team feedback.
- Collaborate closely with internal partners and foster relationships across the company to support project delivery.
- Ensure Granicus information security by maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of information assets per company policies.
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance through the Government of Canada. Details can be found here.

- Bilingual in English and French – required.
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data and trend analysis.
- Knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Conflict management skills and influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and planning skills for complex projects.
- Experience gathering product performance data, customer feedback, and market trends for improvement opportunities.
- Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Proactive, data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills—listening, verbal, and written.
- Self-starter with leadership qualities.
- Experience as a program manager for high-touch clients.
- Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Knowledge of city/county planning, land-use regulations, zoning laws, and enforcement strategies.
- Previous experience with the AMANDA product.
