Job description

May 08, 2025 - Gridlines is hiring a remote Project Finance - Manager. Salary: competitive base salary. Location: EMEA.

Operations:

1. Managing a portfolio of active assignments.
2. Leading the creation and optimization of comprehensive financial models to support strategic decision-making.
3. Developing and refining assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under the guidance of Managers to ensure model robustness and reliability.
4. Reviewing and interpreting commercial documentation and ensuring it is reflected accurately in the financial model.
5. Performing sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in making informed decisions.
6. Contributing to the development and enhancement of financial modeling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
7. Preparing comprehensive model documentation detailing assumptions, methodologies, and results.
8. Maintaining meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold high standards and ensure consistency.
9. Leading in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

People:

1. Leading a team of modeling professionals.
2. Training, motivating, and managing junior team members on assignments.
3. Collaborating closely with team members, learning from and contributing to assignments.
4. Communicating model findings and insights effectively to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• A good appreciation of accounting concepts; an accounting qualification is beneficial.

• Degree qualified in a numerate discipline; a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is beneficial.
• Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
