OB Hospitalists are in the hospital 24/7 to ensure consistent and timely care for every patient entering the labor and delivery unit or the obstetric emergency department.

At Grand Strand Medical Center (GSMC), the birthing process is a priority. From childbirth preparation to discharge, the compassionate staff at GSMC care for new families every step of the way. GSMC offers a variety of pain management options, spacious rooms, comprehensive high-risk pregnancy services provided by Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, and a Level II special care nursery. The center currently sees approximately 700 annual deliveries.
