What you'll do

You determine your earnings as a Warehouse Selector. The more orders you complete safely and efficiently, the more you earn weekly! The average Publix Selector performs at a rate above 100%, allowing you to earn above standard pay. This role involves constant walking, lifting, bending, and stretching—ideal if you're into sports, cardio, strength training, or bodybuilding. Responsibilities include pulling products, placing them on pallets, wrapping orders, and preparing them for delivery, utilizing advanced technology to locate products within the warehouse.

The listed responsibilities are not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

What you need to succeed

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to:
• Work a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays
• Work fluctuating shifts as needed
• Select, lift, carry, and stack products (67 lbs for Frozen Foods and Produce; 85 lbs for Boxed Meat/Dairy)
• Stand, bend, and do repetitive work for long periods
• Operate a pallet truck or forklift safely
• Perform duties accurately and safely
• Read, write, and verify numbers
• Follow instructions
• Pass a Physical Agility Test, if applicable
• Current Atlanta Distribution associate preferred

Hours of Work

Rotating Schedule

Temperatures vary from -20°F to 55°F depending on the environment (Frozen Food, Boxed Meat/Dairy, Wet environments).

Pay and Benefits

Starting at $24.35/hour after training, with potential to exceed $30/hour based on performance. Additional compensation includes:

• In-training pay: $19.48/hour (training lasts 14-120 days)
• Night differential: $0.75/hour (midnight to 3:00 a.m.)
• Freezer differential: $0.50/hour
• Weekend premium: $2/hour (Saturday 12:00 a.m. to Sunday 11:59 p.m.)

Additional bonuses include:

• Year-end Holiday bonus based on tenure
