Mamba Logistics, Inc. is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner launching from Bakersfield, CA. We seek reliable, independent delivery drivers who can work independently in a fast-paced environment and put safety first.

Ideal candidates communicate effectively, deliver packages on time, and care about customer satisfaction. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a non‑provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a 4‑Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre‑employment testing for marijuana).
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle.
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
• Safely deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools.
• Safely and cooperatively engage with coworkers, management and vendors/third parties.
• Safely and professionally interact with customers and the general public while delivering packages to residential, retail, and business locations.
• Carry out a series of instructions and handle company property without constant supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions.
• Keep pace in a physically demanding job; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs; load/unload 50–70 lbs with a hand truck.
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use a smart‑phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and team.
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle.
• Support the team in daily work requirements, including rescue calls when others need assistance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle.
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
• Safely deliver packages to customers located in residential neighborhoods and schools.
• Safely and cooperatively engage with coworkers, management and vendors/third parties.
• Safely and professionally interact with customers and the general public while delivering packages to residential, retail, and business locations.
• Carry out a series of instructions and handle company property without constant supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events/conditions.
• Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs.; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50‑70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use a smart‑phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members.
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle.
• Support the team in daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes.

Benefits & Scheduling

• $22.50 / hour (paid biweekly)
• 8 to 10‑hour shifts are typical.
• Must be available at least 4 days/week, including one weekend day.
• Expect daytime shift starting in the morning.
• A minimum of 2 paid 15‑minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30‑minute meal break.
