The Food and Beverage Cashier/Snack Bar Associate is responsible for ensuring an excellent guest experience by greeting customers warmly, accurately processing transactions quickly and efficiently using the POS system, and thanking customers with a smile. Whether working for a national brand or a local community concept, you will create and deliver first-class experiences for travelers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service with a smile to customers and team members.
- Follow our core values, TRIFIC (Trust, Respect, Integrity, First-Class, Innovation, Commitment), and recognize guest satisfaction as a priority.
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders within 30 seconds of entry, offer recommendations, and confirm orders before processing payment.
- Accurately total, process, and collect payments, including handling cash and credit/debit transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and promote products enthusiastically.
- Resolve guest issues promptly, involving a manager if necessary.
- Assist with training new team members and support other restaurant operations as needed.
- Participate in food safety programs, including proper cleaning, sanitation, and maintaining accurate logs.
- Keep the work environment clean, organized, and free of hazards, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
- Ensure the area is well-stocked and products are rotated appropriately.
- Achieve positive Secret Shopper scores and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Food and Beverage experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Customer service-oriented and solution-focused.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work in a high-energy, demanding environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
- Effective communication skills; ability to work independently and with others.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred.

- Flexible to work various shifts in a 7/365 team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills in English.
- Strong motivation, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and situations.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and math in English.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs, stand, bend, reach, climb ladders, and walk long distances.
