The project and the team

We develop modern Software Defined Networking (SDNs) and Network Operating systems-based solutions for the leading networking equipment manufacturers. We work with cloud-native, containerized software and services, as well as with user-space and kernel-space drivers for advanced network equipment such as switches, routers, and smart network interface cards (smartNICs).

What else you should know:

  • The team consists of developers, QA Automation, and DevOps Engineers.
  • We often work using hardware and tools provided by the client.
  • Our projects can be managed by our EMs or directly by the client.
  • We use Agile methodology (Kanban/Scrum) whenever possible.
  • We work with clients from the US and Europe.
Your role

As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing test automation using Python.
  • Contributing to Python-based test framework functionalities.
  • Documenting test scenarios.
  • Ensuring components you are responsible for are well-covered by automated tests.
  • Being proactive and motivated to deliver high-quality work.
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with other developers.
  • Conducting code reviews for pull requests (PRs) raised by team members.
  • Maintaining project documentation in Confluence.
Do we have a match?

As a QA Automation Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience with Test Automation in Python (version 3).
  • Experience with PyTest.
  • Good knowledge of network concepts - switching and routing, preferably Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of virtualization.
  • Good knowledge of English (B2+ level).

Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Arista switches and routers.
  • Knowledge of Cisco iOS XR/XE devices (e.g.: ASR 9000, ISR/ASR 1000 series).
  • Cisco CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge.
  • Experience in automation of network devices, YANG models, NETCONF, gRPC/gNMI protocols.
  • Experience with hardware traffic generators like Ixia, Spirent.
