Position: KCRO Station Manager “The Heartland’s Christian Voice”
The responsibilities of the KCRO Station Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Be responsible for revenue goal achievement.
- Work with sales management to develop strategies to increase revenue.
- Plan and execute revenue-generating community events.
- Be a positive, professional, reliable, and goal-oriented leader for KCRO.
- Develop and maintain relationships with national ministries and their representatives/agencies.
- Facilitate the renewal process with local and national programs.
- Seek out ministry partners for short and long-form programming.
- Enhance the overall brand and on-air presentation of KCRO.
- Serve as a KCRO brand ambassador in the communities we serve.
- Serve as a station voice and primary point of public contact for KCRO.
- Produce station promos as needed (e.g., Verse of the Day).
- Help guide social media presence and outreach for KCRO.
- Be available for other stations as needed for interviews/input.
- Serve as a mentor to other staff members on how to improve outreach to the Christian community.
Salary: Based on experience with bonus/commission opportunities.
