Role Description

This role involves working as a member of the performance testing team for TELUS Health proprietary software to meet the requirements of our new and existing clients.

  • Execute performance and load tests on TELUS Health’s proprietary applications
  • Write and maintain scripts in tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Monitor system performance, review logs, and assist with root cause analysis
  • Support configuration and maintenance of test environments
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps and development teams to troubleshoot performance issues
  • Contribute to performance test reports with clear analysis and recommendations
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and upskilling initiatives
  • Assist with special projects and other tasks, as required

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen and resident (due to security clearance requirements)
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in an information technology related field
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in QA or performance testing (employment, internship, or contract)

Requirements

  • Familiarity with APM tools (e.g., Datadog, AppInsights, New Relic)
  • Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of modern application and infrastructure concepts (containers, microservices)
  • Professional, reliable, and eager to learn
