Job summary

Great Southern Equipment LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain heavy equipment at our branch and at customer sites. You will travel to job sites, perform diagnostics, service, and repairs, and communicate with customers on service actions.

The role requires reading hydraulic and electrical schematics, forklift operation, and the ability to lift parts 10–100 lbs. A valid CDL/DOT-physical requirement and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• Read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Lift parts (10-100 lbs) regularly.
• Have own tools necessary to complete jobs.
• Operation of forklift required.
• Climbing stairs/ladders to reach all portions of equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for jobs and schooling.
• The position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements
