At Peach, our goal is to improve the lending experience for everyone. We are doing this by offering a leading modern loan management and servicing platform that allows lenders to innovate, adapt and scale.
The HR Manager role is a critical partner to company leadership and team managers, supporting the overall employee experience, shaping company culture, and ensuring compliance with HR-related policies and procedures.


Responsibilities
  1. Own and operate day-to-day HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, leaves, and compliance.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and issues related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  3. Coordinate and support the execution of performance review cycles, engagement surveys, and other company-wide HR initiatives.
  4. Maintain and manage data in our HRIS and other people tools.
  5. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws.
  6. Collaborate with managers and leadership to support employee relations and performance conversations.
  7. Support recruitment coordination, offer letters, and background checks (in partnership with hiring managers and external recruiters).
  8. Identify opportunities to improve existing HR processes for clarity, efficiency, and employee experience.
  9. Keep documentation up to date, including employee handbooks, HR policies, and internal guides.
  10. Partner with our legal or external HR advisors as needed on compliance or sensitive employee matters.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role, in a tech startup or small company environment.
  2. Experience operating core HR processes rather than designing them from scratch.
  3. Familiarity with California employment law and multi-state compliance.
  4. Strong attention to detail and high standards for process accuracy and documentation.
  5. Comfortable working independently and managing a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - trusted by employees and managers alike.
  7. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
