Job description

May 09, 2025 - GreyNoise Intelligence is hiring a remote Head of Product Marketing. Location: USA.

About GreyNoise

GreyNoise Intelligence is a mission-driven security startup focused on helping organizations understand and mitigate risks from Internet scanning and exploitation. GreyNoise provides real-time, verifiable intelligence on all actors scanning the Internet and how some of them are attempting to exploit vulnerabilities on assets connected to corporate networks. The intelligence is highly trusted because it’s generated from a global fleet of thousands of purpose-built sensors observing the Internet. Advanced data science techniques and AI are used to process millions of observed events into real-time intelligence for customers.

The GreyNoise Global Observation Grid observes and analyzes unique threat data at scale that no one else can. GreyNoise provides the most actionable threat intelligence against perimeter threats, so that no attack works twice.

All positions are fully remote within the US, with optional office attendance at our DC area headquarters, unless otherwise specified. Applicants must have US work authorization.

The ideal candidate has a strong background and deep understanding of the security market, especially the threat intelligence market. They also have a proven track record of driving successful product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives.

    • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates.
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
  2. Product Launch and Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, including coordinating with product management, sales, marketing, and other teams.

    • Define and execute a freemium strategy for converting free GreyNoise users into paying customers.
    • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  3. Sales Enablement:
    • Create and maintain sales enablement materials, including sales presentations, product trainings, sales playbooks, competitive battle cards, and more.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand their needs and support them with the necessary tools and information to close deals effectively.
  4. Content and Communications:
    • Develop compelling top and middle-of-funnel content that articulates the benefits and differentiators of GreyNoise's products, such as product data sheets, white papers, customer testimonials, blog posts, webinars, and more.
    • Manage external communications related to product updates and launches, including press releases, analyst relations, social media announcements, and website updates.
  5. Customer Engagement:
    • Regularly gather feedback from customers to inform product and GTM strategy.
    • Act as a spokesperson for GreyNoise at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
What You Will Bring
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security product marketing, content marketing, product management, or sales engineering. Prior experience marketing to SOC, vulnerability, or CTI teams is strongly preferred.
  • Skills, competencies, and traits:
    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, market trends, and customer pain points.
    • Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing technical products.
    • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics tools is preferred.
    • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving business growth.
    • Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
    • Passionate about cybersecurity and committed to industry trends.

This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.
