Job summary

Marksman Security is hiring Retail Unarmed Security Officers at multiple sites in Arizona. The role requires an Active Level 1 Guard Card, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license; pay starts at $21.00 per hour.

Duties include patrolling, inspecting doors and windows, reporting incidents, and deterring theft or vandalism across Queen Creek Marketplace, Mesa Riverview and Christown. Candidates should be able to walk or stand for extended periods and meet site safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have AZ Unarmed Guard Card or be willing to obtain one.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 21 years of age or older to drive company vehicle.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Patrol the interior and exterior of the property and several buildings to observe safety risks and unwanted conditions.
• Report alarms or request police, paramedics or fire departments in case of emergency.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles.
• Complete parking patrols and issue violations as deemed necessary.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct.
• Maintain awareness of site operations and post orders.
• Lock and unlock areas according to opening and closing procedures.

Position: Retail Security Guard (Active Level 1 Guard Card REQUIRED)

Current Site locations: Queen Creek Marketplace, Mesa Riverview and Christown

Pay: Starting at $21.00 /hour

This position requires occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time!

You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and deterring vandalism, thefts or any other criminal behavior. Patrols may be completed on foot or by a Marksman vehicle.
