Sunstates Security is seeking Security Officers in Menlo Park, CA, to join a leading national security firm. The role offers diverse shifts, ongoing training, and clear opportunities for advancement.

Positions feature competitive hourly pay for swing, overnight, and flex assignments, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates hold a CA Guard Card, security experience, and strong written communication skills.

Formación

• CA Guard Card/40-hour Certificate preferred.
• Minimum two years security officer experience.
• Experience with two-way radio communications.
• Able to regularly position at a standing post and perform foot patrols for extended periods of time.
• Clear and concise written communication.
• Exceptional report writing skills and the ability to observe and report incidents accurately.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Suite applications.

• Full Time (32 hours) Thur-Sun swing shift - $27.81-$31.00/hr
• Sat/Sun (16 hour) Overnight shift - $29.00/hr
• Flex officers for Menlo Park sites $31.00/hr

Requirements

• CA Guard Card/ 40-hour Certificate preferred.
• Minimum two years security officer experience.
• Experience with two-way radio communications.
• Able to regularly position at a standing post and perform foot patrols for extended periods of time and distance.
• Can clearly and concisely understand and communicate information and ideas in written form.
• Exceptional report writing skills and the ability to observe and report incidents accurately.
• Experienced with Microsoft office applications experience.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Suite applications.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
