Sunstates Security is seeking licensed security professionals to join our Sandusky, Ohio team. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flex positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with pay from $22.00/hour and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma.
• Security officer and/or military experience is a plus.
• Provide professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate incident, daily activity, and patrol logs/reports.
• Monitor and control facility access per site procedures.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections.
• Maintain strict key control and inventory procedures.
• Verify identifications and authorizations for access.
• Protect confidential information and follow confidentiality requirements.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and policy violations promptly.
• Cooperate with law enforcement, fire departments, and regulatory agencies.
• Follow post orders, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures.

Meet with Hiring Managers to explore Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flex positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts in the Sandusky, Ohio area. Various days and shifts are available with a pay range of $22.00/hr, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Must possess a High School Diploma
• Security officer and/or military experience is a plus.
• Complete accurate, detailed, and professional incident reports, daily activity reports, and patrol logs for all security-related events and unusual occurrences.
• Monitor and control facility access in accordance with site-specific access control procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections to identify security risks, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized activity.
• Maintain strict key control procedures, including inventory, accountability, documentation, and secure storage of all assigned keys.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization before granting access to restricted areas, visitors, vendors, or contractors.
• Protect confidential and proprietary company and client information and follow all confidentiality requirements.
• Observe, document, and report suspicious activity, incidents, accidents, and policy violations in a timely manner.
• Provide professional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders.
• Cooperate with law enforcement, fire departments, and regulatory agencies while following company and client notification procedures.
• Follow all site post orders, safety guidelines, emergency response procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe and secure environment.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
