About the Role

The Director of Worldwide (WW) Public Cloud Providers will lead CloudBees’ strategic alliances with major cloud platforms, with emphasis on AWS development, to drive revenue growth and create joint solutions within the DevOps space. This role focuses on growing CloudBees’ influence in the cloud ecosystem, leveraging our DevOps expertise to deliver innovative Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) solutions to enterprise customers. A successful candidate will have a track record in partnership management, sales growth, and strategic solution development within the Public Cloud and DevOps ecosystems.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Sales Growth: Build and maintain a robust pipeline by leveraging Public Cloud Provider channels, with a primary goal of achieving 30% year-over-year growth. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create targeted go-to-market campaigns that deliver 50 qualified leads per quarter through joint cloud solutions.
  • Develop and Expand Joint Partnerships: Cultivate high-value relationships with Public Cloud Providers, primarily AWS, positioning CloudBees as a leading DevOps partner globally. Shape partnership strategies that integrate CloudBees’ CI/CD solutions with AWS offerings, meeting specific needs across sectors like Finance, Technology, Hospitality, and Government.
  • Innovate and Launch Joint Solutions: Lead the creation and launch of co-developed solutions with AWS, ensuring integration within AWS’s and CloudBees’ partner ecosystems. Aim to bring at least two new joint offerings to market each year, focused on DevOps automation and industry-specific challenges.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Align CloudBees’ product, engineering, and sales teams to support joint initiatives with AWS. Ensure that CloudBees’ DevOps expertise is effectively utilized to create cohesive and market-relevant cloud solutions.
  • Market Advocacy and Positioning: Represent CloudBees as a DevOps thought leader in the cloud space, working to expand brand visibility and influence within AWS’s ecosystem. Establish key performance metrics to assess the impact of cloud partnerships on revenue, product reach, and customer engagement.

What the Role Requires

  • Proven Track Record: Experience in building and scaling global partnerships with AWS or similar cloud providers, ideally within the DevOps or CI/CD space, and a demonstrated history of driving revenue growth through joint initiatives.
  • Results Orientation: Demonstrated success in setting and achieving measurable targets, including revenue growth and the launch of co-branded solutions, to drive business outcomes within cloud and DevOps ecosystems.
  • DevOps and Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles, with specific knowledge of CI/CD processes, cloud ecosystems, and AWS’s partner network.
  • Strategic Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate executive-level relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across organizations to align on strategic goals.
