One of our companies is currently looking for a DevOps Engineer II in India.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced DevOps Engineer with deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern CI/CD practices. You will architect and manage scalable infrastructure using AWS and Amazon EKS, implement infrastructure as code, and lead security and monitoring efforts across platforms. As part of a global engineering team, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure reliability, performance, and efficiency in every deployment. Accountabilities:

  • Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, EKS, and Terraform/CDK
  • Design secure, scalable environments with advanced IAM strategies and automation-first approaches
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD for seamless deployments
  • Oversee and optimize database infrastructure, primarily Amazon RDS, including backup and performance tuning
  • Administer CloudFlare for security enhancements, performance improvements, and CDN configuration
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and conduct regular audits for security and performance
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems using Datadog and CloudWatch
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to align infrastructure with business goals
  • Participate in a rotational shift schedule supporting both day and night operations

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles, particularly in product or SaaS companies
  • Advanced expertise with AWS services and Amazon EKS, with strong Terraform/IaC experience
  • Solid experience in Kubernetes orchestration and containerization using Docker
  • Proven track record in managing CI/CD with GitLab and Argo CD
  • Strong understanding of IAM, security groups, and cloud networking
  • Experience administering and optimizing Amazon RDS; knowledge of Snowflake is a plus
  • Familiar with Python and Bash scripting for automation tasks
  • Proficient with CloudFlare for DNS and web application firewall configurations
  • Comfortable working rotational shifts:
    • Day Shift: 11:00 AM – 08:00 PM IST
    • Night Shift: 06:30 PM – 03:30 AM IST (rotates every 2 weeks)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
