Data Platform Engineer (5+ yrs Python, SQL, SaaS exp. req.) Description

Our client, a growing SaaS company, is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join their remote team from Canada. You’ll design, develop and optimize robust analytics systems and data architectures. This role requires deep expertise in creating complex SQL queries, leveraging modern data warehouse platforms (Snowflake or similar) and developing analytics and reporting systems from the ground up. Proficiency in Python and strong architectural capabilities to design scalable and high-performance systems are essential. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in both development and architecture and is eager to define the future of analytics platforms. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll work hands-on as an individual contributor with opportunities for growth as the company continues to scale, and work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership.
