The role involves building and maintaining foundational data systems, designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, reliable, and secure data infrastructure to support analytics, data science, and product applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with tools like Airflow, Dagster, or dbt.

• Manage data lake and warehouse environments (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Delta Lake).
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.

• Support real-time and batch data processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Python and Node.js skills.
• Proficient in SQL and distributed query engines (Trino, Presto).
• Experience with cloud-native platforms like AWS Glue.
• Hands-on with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Kafka, Kubernetes).
