UPS Industrial Services is seeking a Hiring Coordinator with union experience to manage onboarding in a high-volume environment. The role involves coordinating applications, testing, I-9 compliance, and scheduling background checks and drug screens.

You will enter certification and test data, maintain ATS records, dispatch personnel, and handle after-hours duties on a rotating schedule while building relationships with employees and supervision teams.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Data entry and maintaining accurate records are required.
• Experience with onboarding, testing, and compliance processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact assigned manpower and set up online applications and skills testing.
• Complete and maintain I-9 for compliance.
• Schedule background checks, drug screening, safety council, and medicals.
• Enter training certifications and test scores for each employee.
• Coordinate onboarding issues with field supervision and maintain ATS data.
• Dispatch craft personnel and maintain credentials in records.
• Handle Help Desk tickets and maintain relationships with staff and candidates.
• On‑call duties for after-hours/weekends on a rotating schedule.

About the Role:

UPS Industrial Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Hiring Coordinator with Union experience. The Hiring Coordinator is responsible for for administrative duties in a high volume on-boarding setting to help the organization meet manpower requirements.

Job Duties & Essential Functions:

• Make contact with all assigned manpower.
• Send online application and set up skills testing for all assigned manpower.
• Complete and maintain I-9 to stay in compliance.
• Schedule all UPSIS and Client requirements for assigned manpower including but not limited to background checks, drug screening, safety council, respiratory assessment, and physicals.
• Data Entry for all training certifications, test scores, etc. for each employee.
• Follow-up with field supervision regarding any onboarding issues.
• Maintain accurate data in Applicant Tracking System throughout staffing life cycle.
• Dispatch assigned craft personnel.
• Scan credentials into file of record.
• Assign and Complete Help Desk tickets.
• Maintain and build relationships with current employees, potential candidates and field supervision.
• On Call Duties (encompasses all hiring coordinator duties for after hours and weekends – rotating schedule every 4-6 weeks).

Requirements

• Must be able to pass drug screen.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to accept instructions/delegation and perform in a fast paced, high pressure setting.
• Must be able to give instructions/delegation and follow-up to ensure work is performed as requested.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees.
• Must be willing to perform other duties as may be required by Operations Supervision, Field Supervision or Resources Supervision.
• Follow oral and written directions

• This position requires 2-years of industry experience.
