Job summary

Maya Home Care is looking for dedicated HHA-certified caregivers to support our clients across New Jersey. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a clean, safe home environment.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey (CHHA preferred).
• Experience in home care or similar field is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
• Monitor and report changes in health to the care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
