Job summary

Halcyon Home in the greater Austin area is hiring CNAs and/or CMAs who are motivated to deliver exceptional, one-on-one personal care in the comfort of clients' homes.

We offer day and night shifts, with roles including full time, part time and PRN; benefits include medical & dental insurance, 401k, and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must have COVID vaccination or be willing to vaccinate.
• CNA or CMA license is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must travel to assignments and have access to transportation.
• Must pass criminal history and Employee Misconduct Registry checks.
• Willing to work at least 8 hours per week (flexible).

Responsibilities

• Bathing and dressing clients.
• Grooming and personal care.
• Incontinence care and toileting assistance.
• Daily laundry and linens.
• Light housekeeping.
• Meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Dementia/memory care support.
• Standby assistance for walking.
• Transportation and errands.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• COVID vaccinated (or willing to be vaccinated)
• CNA license or CMA license is a plus!
• Must have current driver’s license or state identification.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to assignments.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and be competent to perform tasks assigned by Supervisor or Scheduler.
• Must agree to and pass a criminal history check, an Employee Misconduct Registry check and 3 year driving record.
• Willing to work at least 8 hours per week(can be multiple short shifts)
