Pay: $15 for CNA and $14 for Non-licensed

We seek a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide in-home care services to our clients in Von Ormy. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and a strong commitment to providing excellent care.
The caregiver shall obtain vital signs, record them, and notify the office of deviations according to standard practice.
Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, hair care, shaving, deodorant application, skin care with lotions and/or powder, foot care, and ear care). Q-tips are not to be used.
Changing bed linens and making the bed.
Eating and maintaining adequate nutrition and fluid intake when appropriate.
Ambulation and transfers (assisting patients to the toilet/commode, with bedpans, and other transfers as appropriate).
Incidental household services such as light housekeeping, straightening room, and laundry.
Medication reminders.
Understanding and applying basic infection control principles. Contact supervisor with any concerns related to infection control.
Follow the Plan of Care as instructed by the Agency's healthcare professional.
Document appropriately and submit all documentation per agency policy.
Observe physical and behavioral changes and report to the office.
Follow the visit schedule and communicate any changes.
Promptly contact patients and the office if unable to visit as scheduled, providing full reports.
Communicate appropriately with patients, families, and Agency personnel.
Attend required in-services and meetings (12 hours per year).
Adhere to the Agency's Policies and Procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned and participate in Performance Improvement activities.
