Job summary

Alvita Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) in the Centereach area and surrounding Suffolk County communities. Compassionate caregivers with home care or facility experience are preferred; drivers are preferred.

Flexible scheduling with short or long shifts and a minimum case length of 4 hours are offered. Qualified applicants must be NYS-certified HHA or PCA and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Certified New York State HHA or PCA is required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional and patient-centered.
• Maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications.
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain them.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred.
• Drivers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home health and personal care assistance.
• Follow prescribed care plans and maintain quality of care.
• Support clients with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
