Job summary

Alvita Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) in the Mount Sinai area, throughout Suffolk County. We offer private-duty, one-on-one care with shifts between 6 and 12 hours and per-diem work in a variety of schedules, including part-time, full-time long-term, and short-term/fill-in hours.

Qualifications include NYS HHA or PCA, authorization to work in the U.S., reliability, professionalism, and updated vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Certified NYS HHA or PCA is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional and patient-centered.
• Maintain professionalism in communications.
• Updated medicals/vaccinations required or willing to obtain.
• Prior home care experience preferred.
• Drivers preferred.
• Must complete onboarding before accepting cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home health care to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication with clients and families.
• Complete onboarding and schedule onboarding steps as required.

Essential Info

• Shifts are 1:1 private duty, homecare or facility bedside
• We can be flexible with scheduling! Shifts are between 6 and 12 hours
• All work is per-diem, with available schedules including part-time, full-time long-term, and short-term/fill-in hours

Qualifications

• Certified New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) required
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
• Must maintain professionalism in all written and verbal communications
• Must have updated medicals/vaccinations or be willing to obtain them
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred
• Drivers preferred
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form
• Must successfully complete the Alvita Care onboarding process before accepting cases
