Jul 05, 2025 - ISI Enterprises is hiring a remote AWS Engineer. Salary: $160,000 - $182,000. Location: USA.

IsI Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer who will work closely with our Security Control Engineering team in evaluating the security of our enterprise web application, assist in the implementation of proper security policies and controls within our AWS infrastructure, assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities, and prepare the application for FedRAMP evaluation and certification.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of our AWS infrastructure to determine compliance with FedRAMP and SOC2 requirements
  • Assist in implementing security policies and controls in our AWS infrastructure
  • Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities within our infrastructure and develop remediation plans to address them
  • Assist with the remediation of security audit findings from our 3rd party vendors
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to implement security controls and measures necessary to achieve compliance
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on FedRAMP requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Provide assistance in gathering evidence that necessary for preparing the FedRAMP documentation
  • Work with our engineering team to implement FIPS security controls

Qualifications:

This position requires applicants to have current, interim eligibility or previous security clearance.

  • Candidates must have held or currently hold a clearance or have documented eligibility based on a favorable background investigation.
  • Interim clearances will be accepted for consideration.
  • All clearances are encouraged to apply.
  • U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation.
Applicants without any of the abovewill not be considered at this time due to contract requirements.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Amazon EC2, RDS, ECS, S3, etc.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar “infrastructure-as-code" tool
  • In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP requirements, controls, and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex security issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent work or military experience
  • AWS Certified Security specialist is a plus
  • AWS Machine Learning or SageMaker AI experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST
