Who You Are:
  • You recently graduated in Game Design and have at least 1 year of game design experience: you contributed to create and release at least one game
  • You are an avid gamer and aspire to be a superlative game designer
  • You are curious and motivated to learn from industry veterans
  • You have high energy, a positive attitude, and are a creative thinker
  • You are available to work full-time within the US West-Cost hours.
How You'll Contribute:
  • By designing and implementing new features, content or tuning, in collaboration with your team
  • By producing core game designs, documentation, balance sheets, systems etc. for teams to execute from
  • By working with our players and community to understand their priorities and feedback
  • By assessing and applying qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve game engagement and retention
What you'll need:
  • Experience bringing designs to life using Unity
  • Knowledge/ Coursework of Visual Design - Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator, and basic graphic design sensibilities
  • Strong systems design experience
  • Excel/ Google Sheets wizard
  • Comfortable with Slack, JIRA and online collaboration suites such as Confluence
  • Passion for simulation games is a plus
  • (optional) Experience or having taken courseworks in:
    • User Experience (UX; user research, wireframes, iteration)
    • Systems Design
    • Rapid Prototyping
