Kahu Malama Nurses in Honolulu, HI seeks a Medical Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team. You will prepare patients, take vitals, record histories, and support providers with exams, injections, and routine lab tasks.

Full-time with occasional Saturday hours; the role requires EHR familiarity, patient education, and managing records. This position offers direct patient care in a cardiology-adjacent setting and opportunities to advance within Array Corporation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in cardiology or elder care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and documenting chief complaints.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer injections and medications and perform basic lab procedures as directed by providers.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, wellness programs, and follow-up care.
• Schedule appointments, answer phones, and manage patient records.
• Keep electronic medical records (EMR) accurate and protect patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with providers and staff.
• Clean and prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies according to infection control standards.
• Track inventory and order medical and office supplies.
• Deliver friendly, professional service that puts every patient at ease.

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Medical Assistant

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $23/hour

Experience:

1. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
2. Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in cardiology or with older adults, is highly preferred.

Education:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Type: Full-time; Temp to Perm

Schedule: Full-time & Part-time positions available

1. Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
2. Saturday (half-day), 9:00am to 1:00pm
