Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

This position involves supporting a 17-year-old girl with personal care, hygiene tasks, and community outings. She enjoys listening to music, anime, SpongeBob, going to thrift stores, and helping with household tasks.

This is an independent contract position paying $15.00 per hour.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

You will be a good fit for this position if you:

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy
• Demonstrate patience and compassion

Responsibilities include:

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring the individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitating community involvement by accompanying her to social events, outings, grocery shopping, and appointments
• Promoting communication, independence, and socialization
• Completing daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Proven caregiving experience or technical training for at least 1 year
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
