Responsibilities

• Ensure all monies are posted accurately in NextGen utilizing proper 'Reason Codes'.
• Post unapplied money to charges.
• Knowledge of adjudication of insurance EOBs and patient responsibility.
• Post payments received from lockbox, insurance payments as well as payment journals.
