Job summary

EMS|MC is seeking a refunds specialist to identify, address, and audit overpayments and required refunds. You will prepare the essential paperwork to initiate refunds and monitor workflows to meet turnaround times.

Role requires collaboration across departments, strong data-entry and Excel skills, and high organization. Salary is $18.00/hour with benefits; must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Intermediate Excel skills to manipulate data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-departmental and diverse teams.
• Strong typing and data entry skills.
• Highly organized with ability to be proactive, manage time, and prioritize work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Identify when a refund is required.
• Prepare documentation to initiate refunds.
• Monitor workflows to meet turnaround goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams on recoupments and payments.
• Quality audit refund paperwork for compliance.
• Provide feedback and training to partners on refunds.
• Deliver refund documents securely to the correct recipient.
• Research inquiries and respond in a timely manner.
