Bodycote is hiring for the position of HIP Machine Operator - Weekend Shift based in Andover, MA. This role involves operating heat treatment equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring customer specifications are met. The position offers a sign-on bonus, competitive benefits, and requires working on weekends with specific shift options.

Key Benefits:

  • Shift differential for off-shifts (working 32 hours but paid for 40)

Work Schedule: Saturday/Sunday, 12-hour shifts (choices of 6 pm - 6 am or 12 am - 12 pm), plus one 8-hour shift during the M-F workweek.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and boxing cycles, loading/unloading parts
  • Operating and monitoring equipment in the Control Room
  • Creating load diagrams and updating KPI database
  • Conducting gas analysis and managing cycle parameters
  • Following safety procedures and using PPE
  • Operating forklifts and cranes as needed

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (ITAR compliance)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with heat treatment or water management preferred
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends
  • Forklift certification required

Physical & Mental Demands: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work in industrial conditions, and communicate effectively.
