Job summary

Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX, seeks a fellowship-trained Hip & Joint Surgeon to join a multi-specialty group. The role involves both clinic and OR time with a 2–3 day weekly split, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM clinic hours, and about 3–5 call days per month.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained or extensive experience in hip & joint reconstruction.
• Board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery is required.
• Trauma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hip & knee joint replacement and related orthopaedic procedures.
• Split time between clinic and operating room with a 2–3 day weekly schedule.
• Support inpatient/outpatient care with a 70/30 case mix; participate in on-call rotation.
