A leading healthcare organization is seeking a support specialist to provide onboarding and quality assurance across its multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a background in health information management or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with health regulations and collaborating with various departments to improve patient and staff support systems.
Serves as the primary support source for the Health System, including 8 Acute Care Hospitals, over 50 outpatient service locations, and all Ambulatory Surgical Centers. Provides onboarding and ongoing education to supporting staff. Performs quality assurance within the area of responsibility, monitors reports and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, and tests new software applications and system upgrades in collaboration with Information Technology. Ensures compliance with TJC, CMS, OIG, Medical Staff Rules and Regulations, AHIMA guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and applicable State and Federal Laws. Interacts with clinical and administrative departments, physicians, clinicians, and patients. Salary ranges from $19.15 to $23.17, depending on experience.
