Job summary

Saint Luke's Health System is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to maintain an accurate Master Patient Index and coordinate chart corrections within our EMR. You will analyze and resolve chart correction tickets submitted via EMR and IT ticket systems for hospital and ambulatory settings.

The role requires working knowledge of HIM, testing and troubleshooting across multiple applications, and the ability to identify root causes of MPI issues.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of HIM and experience or degree in HIM.
• Experience analyzing and resolving chart correction tickets in EMR systems.
• Ability to identify root causes for MPI and chart correction problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze chart correction cases in EMR and Service Now to ensure accurate documentation.
• Identify and merge duplicate MRNs across hospital and ambulatory records.
• Verify provider information and relay validated data to IT Security for database updates.
• Review pended transcribed reports to ensure interface to EMR is complete.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a changing environment while maintaining data confidentiality.
