Job summary

Saint Luke's seeks a Data Integrity Specialist to maintain a concise Master Patient Index and coordinate chart corrections within our EPIC-based EMR. The role analyzes and resolves chart correction tickets submitted via EMR and IT Service Now for hospital and ambulatory care settings.

The team works with multiple software applications to test, troubleshoot processes, and ensure data integrity across databases.

Qualifications

• Experience in HIM or HIM degree.
• Ability to maintain Master Patient Index with accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze chart corrections in EMR and Service Now to ensure accurate documentation in the medical record for hospital and ambulatory settings.
• Identify and merge potential duplicate MRNs from third-party applications.
• Verify provider information in EMR queues and coordinate with IT Security to build records.
• Review pended transcribed reports from third-party services and interface them to EMR.
• Manage data integrity issues across multiple inbasket folders and work queues.
