The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $98,000, with a midpoint of $81,500. New hires will typically receive between minimum and midpoint; however, offers may vary based on experience, internal equity, and market.
Schedule: Onsite full-time business hours; M-F 8am-5pm occasional flexibility may be required.

We have three operating rooms including a room for scopes. Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, Clinics, Lab services, Pharmacy, Cardiopulmonary, and Rehab.

Up to $5,000
CGH offers retention bonuses of up to $3,500. These bonuses will be awarded every five years, starting from your fifth year as a full-time employee.

The Health Information Management (HIM) Assistant Director supports the HIM Director in the coordination, supervision, and daily operations of the Health Information Management Department for a Critical Access Hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics. This position provides operational oversight of Release of Information (ROI), document imaging and scanning, medical record integrity, physician deficiency management, chart completion, regulatory compliance support, and HIM staff supervision. The role requires advanced working knowledge of Oracle Health/Cerner and familiarity with Updox, MedHost, and eClinicalWorks (eCW).
Position PurposeThe HIM Assistant Director provides operational leadership for day-to-day HIM functions and serves as the primary operational resource for Cerner HIM workflows. The position does not oversee coding operations or Coding Department staff, which remain under the direction of the Coding Manager.
