Position Overview

The Housekeeping Manager oversees the efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards. Responsibilities include supervising rooms, public areas, laundry, and managing staff. The role requires working as much as necessary to fulfill job duties, including overtime for OEM associates.

Pay Range

This range is provided by Aimbridge Hospitality. Actual pay depends on skills and experience. Base pay range: $47,500.00/yr - $50,000.00/yr

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive hotel or related experience, or a 2-year college degree with 3+ years of experience, or a 4-year degree with at least 1 year of experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate radios professionally.
• Supervise Housekeeping and Laundry staff.
• Inspect rooms daily, with specific conditions for scheduling additional supervision.
• Ensure compliance with training standards and conduct performance appraisals.
• Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and inventory.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and emergencies effectively.
• Participate in meetings, training, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor work orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and security standards throughout the property.
• Train staff according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
