Inversion, an aerospace and defense pioneer headquartered in Los Angeles, seeks a HIL Technician to join the simulation team building, testing, and maintaining hardware-in-the-loop systems for flight simulations. You will work on EGSE and HIL test benches to accelerate development across engineering stacks.

Key tasks include wiring harness assembly, schematic revisions, and server installation, with in-office presence at Playa Vista, CA.

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in the integration and testing of mission- and safety-critical electronics.
• Ability to execute autonomously given high-level tasks and extract designs from engineers to implement.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret/Top Secret clearance.

Aufgaben

• Integrate electronics hardware to enable on-demand HIL simulation workflows.
• Modify schematics and layouts for wiring harnesses.
• Perform hands-on assembly/rework of prototype wiring harnesses and PCBs.
• Install and maintain servers, EGSE, and HIL test benches for simulation workflows.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to maximize system availability.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure simulation performance.
• Support design and development of a simulation system capable of provisioning resources for workflows.
