Belfonte Ice Cream Company is seeking a School Route Driver in Kansas City, MO, to deliver products to schools on a Monday–Friday schedule. Expected start around 4am, with routes typically about 8 hours.

The role supports sales through accurate transactions and strong customer relations while upholding safety and quality standards. The position requires a CDL or equivalent license, reliable driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

Belfonte is looking for a driver to deliver to schools Monday through Friday, starting around 4am to finish. Routes usually run around 8 hours a day.

About the Role:

School Route Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products to customers across assigned routes within the area. This position is designed to provide flexible coverage, stepping in to manage sales routes as needed to maintain consistent service levels. The primary goal is to uphold customer satisfaction by delivering products accurately, handling transactions professionally, and representing the company with integrity. The role requires adaptability to various routes and schedules, ensuring seamless operations during peak times. Ultimately, this position supports the sales team by maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the distribution network.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate driver’s license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in driving and delivering products safely and efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a sales route driver or in a similar delivery role.
