Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an HIL Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI to design, build, commission, maintain, and support Hardware-in-the-Loop systems for automotive validation. You will work on HIL architectures, BOMs, wiring documentation, and model configuration, performing open- and closed-loop testing while ensuring bench readiness and implementing system updates.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, reporting, and validation of features, with adherence to applicable safety requirements.

Qualifications

• HIL engineering experience or capabilities with HIL architectures and testing.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink models and CAN/LIN networks.
• Familiarity with dSPACE hardware, Control Desk and configuration tools.

HIL Engineer responsible for designing, building, commissioning, maintaining, and supporting Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems for automotive validation. The role includes HIL architecture design, BOM and wiring documentation development, model configuration, open- and closed-loop testing, bench readiness, system updates, troubleshooting, corrective actions, reporting, and feature validation.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $33.66/hour - $52.60/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
