Longmont Peak Dentistry in Longmont, CO is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our small private general practice focused on comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dental care. You will see one patient at a time in a friendly, low-stress environment with a 4-day work week and Fridays off, and a compensation package reflecting the Boulder county market.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associates degree or higher).
• Active Colorado Registered Dental Hygiene license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing.
• Perform periodontal assessments, charting, and oral cancer screenings.
• Capture and interpret dental radiographs.
• Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive therapies.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care techniques, and overall wellness.
• Accurately document treatment notes, patient histories, and care plans in practice management software.
• Collaborate closely with dentists to create individual treatment plans.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (as permitted).
• Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification (can provide if not current)


• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail


• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills


• Preferred 1+ year of clinical experience


• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide permits


• Periodontal therapy, and/or laser dentistry experience
