The ideal candidate is state-licensed as an RDH with 1–2 years of experience preferred; new graduates welcomed. Excellent communication and patient-focused service are essential for delivering a great dental experience.

Qualifications

• State-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
• Associates degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s/master preferred.
• 1–2 years of dental hygiene experience, or new graduates welcomed.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories.
• Perform dental cleanings and collect oral health data.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has at least two years of experience. Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical histories
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
• Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques
• Create dental impressions
• Take x-rays
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
• Current Dental Hygienist licensure
• At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene. However, new graduates are welcome as well.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
