• Preventative care incl. cleanings, SRP, digital X-rays, sealants/fluoride.

• Clinical assessment including periodontal screenings and exams.
• Collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans and ensure smooth patient flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Care: Perform thorough cleanings (prophy, SRP), take digital X-rays, and apply sealants/fluoride treatments.
• Patient Education: Empower patients with personalized oral hygiene instructions and nutritional counseling.
• Clinical Assessment: Conduct periodontal screenings, oral cancer exams, and document clinical findings accurately in our practice management software.
• Collaboration: Work alongside our dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure a seamless patient flow.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active State Dental Hygiene License and CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience: Previous experience is preferred, but we are more than happy to mentor a motivated new graduate.
• Soft Skills: A friendly, patient-first attitude and the ability to explain complex clinical terms in a way that’s easy to understand.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with digital charting (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and intraoral cameras is a plus.
