Coventry Family Dental in Rhode Island is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will screen patients, perform cleanings, and assist dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed and has at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and ensure comfort
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions
• Prepare sterilized equipment for exams and procedures
• Take vital signs and record medical histories
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
• Evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques
• Create dental impressions and take x-rays
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
