Jersey Dentistry PC is seeking a motivated dental hygienist to join a busy, general dentistry practice in New Jersey. You will contribute to providing comprehensive patient care and exceptional patient experiences in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist licensure is required.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Prepare sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Take vital signs and record medical histories accurately.
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories.
• Evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride treatments.
• Teach good oral hygiene techniques.
• Take dental impressions and x-rays.
• Adhere to health, safety regulations and office policies.
