Step into Your New Role

Kleinfelder's Delaware team is seeking responsible candidates for stormwater, drainage, and E&S controls design for transportation projects under the guidance of an experienced project engineer or project manager. The successful candidate is expected to perform engineering tasks in the transportation and highway engineering field through application of relevant design criteria, standards, and processes. The candidate will work on multiple design projects and assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement, construction, and cost estimates. This is an in-office position at either our Dover or New Castle, DE location.

Required Skills:

  • BSCE from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • EIT Certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MicroStation, HydroCAD, StormCAD, FlowMaster, and HY-8 desired.
  • Experience with project delivery for State Agency Transportation Departments is desired.
  • Basic knowledge of Delaware Sediment and Stormwater Regulations and Post Construction BMP Standards and Specifications.

Required Experience: 1 to 4 years of design experience in highway transportation. Relevant internships or coursework will be considered.
